Features and Thank you’s for April

April was another great month for Suzy’s Artsy Craftsy Sitcom! Averaging approximately 100,000 hits per month, with over 2000 subscribers on Blogger, Facebook, Twitter, and RSS feeds combined, the Sitcom is on a roll.  If you would like to take advantage of the momentum, and have a website or Etsy store that you would like to promote, please check out my Advertising page.  I am currently offering one free month of advertising with no strings attached.

With Easter falling at the end of the month, my Ukrainian Egg Tutorial was very popular.  Although, these eggs can certainly be displayed year round.  My eggs were featured on One Pretty Thing, Skip to my Lou, Someday Crafts, Delights Gems, and Me, Myself and Tena

Shaylynn from Shealynn’s Faerie Shoppe, took this idea and created her own version of Pysanky using sharpie pens!  And came up with some amazing eggs!!  Beautiful!

For a little project made from toilet paper tubes, my Faux Metal Wall Art is still going strong, featured on Curbly, Tip Junkie, Adoro Artesanato, Yellow Blackbird, and Reinvented KB.

Rachael from the Little Birdie Blog was inspired by the idea of creating from toilet paper tubes and used them to decorate this amazing wreath!  How’s that for spring-like recycling?  Megan from Desire2Create also created a beautiful faux metal scrollwork using toilet paper tubes and a picture frame!

And PC from MeijosJoy created a wonderful framed piece for her kitchen using the quilling techniques and soft cardboard.  Be sure to check out PC’s site- it is full of recycled goodness.

My Batik with Crayons was featured by A Vision to Remember, Someday Crafts, Simply Sari, One Pretty Thing, The Speckled Dog, Hope Studios, and Creative Jewish Mom

Inspired by my Faux Stained Glass, Blunders and Blessings made some beautiful stained glass.  I just love this classic design!!  Nidhizzle also made some stained glass. A beautiful rose!  Awesome job! It’s amazing what you can create with just a bit of acrylic paint and school glue!

Saved by Love Creations took the Batik idea and ran with it, creating her own version of batik with printed fabric.

My Popsicle Bracelets were featured by Someday Crafts, My World Made by Hand, Blissful Meandering, I am Along for the Ride, Mostly Food and Crafts, One Pretty Thing, Ucreate, A Creative Princess, 10 Marifet.org, Craft Gossip, Craft Envy, Todays Top 20, Five Sixteenths, Moms by Heart, Life Without Whiteout, Dollar Store Crafts, Sugar Bee Crafts, Bobaloo!, Sew Can Do, 11th Heaven Homemaking Haven, Saved by Love Creations, Gluesticks, Blissful Meandering, All Things Fee, Singing Three Little Birds, Reasons to Skip the Housework, New Nostalgia, Sassysites, My Backyard Eden, The Trendy Treehouse, LilLuna, Women Who Do it All, and Momma’s Kinda Crafty.  Wow.

Maebelle Creations tried her hand at making these little bracelets and came up with some really cute ones!  Awesome job.  I am excited to see other versions of this one.

And my final project for the month, Handmade Decorative Soaps were featured by One Pretty Thing, Banuca Birseyler,  and Dollar Store Crafts.

Thank you so much to all my wonderful readers for making The Sitcom so successful!  And a special thanks goes out to all those blogs that were nice enough to feature my work!!  Please take a few moments to swing by some of these amazing blogs and show them some love.  Inspiration is everywhere!!
